His love for the blues spans 50 years

Molten Mike was born on April 20, 1957 in Seattle, Washington. In 1961 the first time he saw the guitar player who lived next door, rehearsing with his country band and experiening several of those up-close, live performances, he knew what he wanted for his 5th birthday ...a Sears acoustic guitar.

Mike had already been influenced by his New Orleans born and raised Father's massive record collection of Jazz, R&B and Blues records, then came The Beatles and a trip back to Sears for an electric guitar!

So fast forward through the years Radio Rock to Hard Rock and even a country record, Mike now finds himself firmly and happily planted back in the Blues. His exceptional delta blues steel guitar slide playing is a highlight of his show, which got him invited to Australia for two tours and many Blues festivals Down Under.

If you did not have a chance to see Mike performing at the prestigious and historical Florentine Ballroom at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, you might have seen him playing in St Louis or New Orleans.
